Good Asset x Deck of Stars Daughter
He was my primary mount for 5 years, riding him on trail rides, in Centered Riding clinics and in some Western Dressage lessons. As a Centered Riding instructor, I ride him with my body, and Shaggy responds instantly. He likes a quiet rider who has kind hands. Shaggy would go well on the trail as well in the arena. Shaggy rides well alone or in group rides, either small or large. Shaggy walks easily on the trail and has both a slow trot and a ground traveling extended trot. Shaggy stands quiet to saddle, to mount and dismount from either side, for the farrier, to vaccinate and to worm. Shaggy has competed in a Competitive Trail Ride at Indian Caves, on very wet and slick trails this fall and finished well without losing points for conditioning. I have ridden him totally barefoot and he is sound. He is current on vaccinations and worming. Priced at $5000 may seem high, but consider the cost of raising a younger horse to this age, taking into consideration the level of training, and would you be certain that you would have a trained, gentle trail or beginner Dressage or Hunt Seat horse?
